Stensat is offering upgrades for existing S7 lamps to the same LEDs and cable as the current premium lamps. As LED brightness has increased gradually over the past years, owners of the oldest lamps will see the largest benefit from this upgrade.
The StenLight has been available for a few years now and the latest generation lamps equipped with Luxeon Rebel ES emitters outshine the original Luxeon III versions significantly and the later Rebel 70 and 100 versions by a smaller margin.
The latest ES emitters are more efficient, so your lamp will run for longer, and the cable is upgraded to the latest quick-fit type, as well as the optics.
The upgrade includes:
- Rebel ES grade emitters
- Carclo frosted optics (best suited to the Rebel light pattern)
- New user-serviceable cable
- Front screen and gasket
- Cleaning, servicing
- Delivery back to you
Peak output is in the region of 500 lumens (as opposed to the 140 of the original lamp). High will be about as bright as Turbo on the old lamp, and Turbo about twice as bright as it was.

You are responsible for the shipping charges to Stensat.
The upgrade cost includes UPS Ground shipping by Stensat to customers within the continental USA. Customers outside this area will need to pay an additional fee to cover higher shipping costs.
On Rope 1 will charge you only the upgrade fee and not shipping, as it is calculated in the upgrade cost. (Please disregard any shipping calculated by the shopping cart if this is the only item ordered.)
