The Endurance harness is built for comfort and safety. Three inch wide leg loops are designed for maximum weight distribution and comfort. As in most harnesses, support comes from the thighs and pelvic area, not the waist. This harness is for rappelling and using a Ropewalker or Mitchell style ascending system. It is not designed to be used for a Frog Climbing System.
A harness that suspends from the waist threatens damage to all the vital organs in the abdominal area and risks suffocation. The belay loop tests at over 15,000 lbs. Also available in a padded version. (F72) (This is not a frogging harness.)

*NOTE: Never use a “bypass” carabiner instead of a belay loop when using and hanging in this type of harness. There is a myth believed by many who think that the belay loop, which is the strongest part of the harness and typically tests at over 10,000 lbf, is weak and must be “backed up” or bypassed with a large, strong carabiner.
